On occasion of the Public Service week, Heritage Malta will be opening all its museums and sites for free on Sunday 1st February.

Until just a few generations ago, children used to inhabit the streets where they ran, jumped, danced, climbed and played. This is no more the case as children today are less physically active, and their lives have become scheduled from dawn to dusk with no time to play.

The International Museum Day, a celebration held every year around mid-May, is approaching. In order to increase public awareness on Malta’s rich Cultural Heritage, ICOM-Malta is encouraging museum patrons to participate in this international event. This year, the theme of the International Museum Day is “Museum collections make connections.”
