The leaflet will encourage the shops and small businesses to ensure that their banknote handling and authentication devices are ready to accept the new €10.

British Airways has welcomed the two newest members of its fleet to Heathrow, the airline’s London hub. The largest aircraft in the fleet, the A380 and one of the smallest, the A320, stood nose to nose at Airbus’ site in Toulouse before British Airways pilots flew them into Heathrow.

“Ideas for a better Europe” will be pooled by around five thousand young Europeans at a three-day European Youth Event (EYE) at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, on 9-11 May. Over 200 debates and workshops will enable 16-30 year-olds to air policy issues close to their hearts. Over half of Europe’s young people feel excluded from its economic and social life, says a recent Eurobarometer poll.
