The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), in collaboration with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OSHA-Malta), is organising the 12th edition of the European Good Practices Awards in Occupational Safety and Health.

The aim of these awards is to make employers and employees aware of the importance of health and safety practices at the workplace. This edition’s theme is Healthy Workplaces Manage Stress.

Companies, organisations, social partners and employees are invited to submit real-life examples of how work-related stress and psychosocial risks have been effectively managed. Entries should clearly show how innovative good practices have been applied in the workplace to eliminate or reduce psychosocial risks and stress at work, thereby preventing their significant negative effects, while at the same time helping workers stay healthy, creating a more positive workplace culture, and improving performance.

All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of independent judges and the winners will be announced and awarded during the Good Practices Awards ceremony in November 2014. The winning practices will be submitted to the EU-OSHA.
